An information meeting was held with representatives of the local authorities in the municipality of Jebel

An information meeting was held on 22.02.2022 at 14:00 in the building of the Municipality of Jebel, in implementation of the project "Business Council" - 6275_BC, funded by Subsidy contract № B6.3a.18 / 13.04.2021, Program for Territorial Cooperation Interreg V-A Greece - Bulgaria 2014-2020

The meeting was attended by representatives of the municipal administration Jebel, which was attended by heads of departments, experts and specialists in various fields.

The moderator made a presentation of the project and the participating organizations. Explain briefly the essence of the INTERREG V-A Greece-Bulgaria program, as well as its main objectives, namely: expanding entrepreneurial activity in the eligible region, improving the capacity of SME representatives to penetrate foreign markets, promoting cultural and natural heritage, expanding of social entrepreneurship in the border areas, etc.

The host of the event presented the project idea, emphasizing its main goal of establishing 7 business councils in Bulgaria (Blagoevgrad, Smolyan, Haskovo, Kardzhali) and 7 business councils in Greece (Evros, Xanthi, Rhodopes, Drama, Kavala, Thessaloniki, Serres ).

Each of the partner organizations was presented with its own experience, but the role of the DISK in the work of business councils was discussed in detail, namely: providing full support to business councils related to administrative and organizational needs, free trainings, exchange of experience, resource provision, preparation and distribution of press releases, moderation of periodic meetings of councils and engagement of local government representatives.

At the end of the event, the moderator invited the present representatives of the municipality of Jebel to join the discussion and ask questions.
