Technological innovations in the agricultural sector

On 18.10. 2023 at the International Hellenic University of Thessaloniki was held the fifth meeting in the Thessaloniki District of Business Council in the Agro - Food Sector, which focuses on new technologies and innovative strategies to improve business structures in the sector.

Integration of new technologies - It was discussed The role of digitalization, precision agriculture, IoT applications, automation and analysis of data to optimize agro -production and increase efficiency.

Innovation in processes and products - Successful examples of Sustainable packaging, new production methods and added value productsthat help market differentiation and meet consumer needs.

Innovation in Business Models - They were discussed Alternative models such as direct sales, subscription services and cooperation platforms, which create new opportunities for growth and adaptation to market trends.

The fifth meeting of the Council has provided valuable knowledge of the opportunities that technology and innovation offer in the sector. Students and participants have received practical guidelines for the implementation of innovation that will support their development and competitiveness in agro -food business.
