A regular meeting of the Business Council was held in the Health sector
On 03.12.2022 from 16:00 a regular meeting was held in Blagoevgrad of the Business Council in the Health sector in the border regions of Blagoevgrad, Haskovo, Kardzhali and Smolyan, and the activity is carried out under the project "Business Council - BC 6275" financed by the INTERREG V/A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020 program, Subsidy contract No. B6.3a .18/13.04.2021
Six representatives of the sector from the border regions of Haskovo, Kardjali, Blagoevgrad and Smolyan attended the meeting organized in this way in the city of Blagoevgrad. The dedicated hall was technically secured, being equipped with multimedia, a laptop computer, a printer, as well as information boards, a banner and presentation materials, according to the requirements of the Communication and Publicity Guide of the Interreg V/A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020 program. In addition, disinfectants were provided, as well as water, coffee and tea to ensure the event's coffee break.
The representatives of the sector started a discussion related to vaccination. As one of the members of the BC, he explained that due to the prolonged pandemic situation due to Covid-19, the compulsory vaccination of children has fallen behind, and at the moment a large number of children do not have the compulsory vaccines, due to a number of reasons.
The Health Business Council decided to appeal to the local authorities for assistance in carrying out an information campaign in the relevant settlements, by printing brochures and/or posting messages both on the websites of the municipalities and on information boards, through which the benefits of vaccination, and to restore people's confidence in vaccines.
