A regular meeting of the Business Council in the Tourism sector was held
On 12.11.2022 from 15:00 in the city of Blagoevgrad, a regular meeting of the Business Council in the Tourism sector was held in the border regions of Blagoevgrad, Haskovo, Kardjali and Smolyan, and the activity is carried out under the project "Business Council - BC 6275" financed by the INTERREG V/A program GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020, Subsidy contract No. B6.3a.18/13.04.2021.
The meeting was attended by five representatives of the Tourism Sector from the border regions of Haskovo, Kardjali, Blagoevgrad and Smolyan. The meeting of the Tourism Business Council started on time in attendance mode.
The moderator of the event welcomed all attendees by giving a brief presentation of the project idea and program.
The topics that were discussed during the discussion were the following:
- Promotion of our country as an interesting and attractive tourist destination;
- Modernization of the tourist infrastructure;
- The quality of tourist services and the human factor as the main and determining factor for the development of tourism in Bulgaria;
In the context of point two, the representatives of the sector decided to list the compromised tourist infrastructure and submit a request to the relevant municipal councils in order for the local administrations to prioritize the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the relevant sites during the new program period.
