On 07/08/2022 from 18:00 a.m. in the "Knowledge" hall, the city of Haskovo, a regular meeting of the Business Council in the Tourism sector was held in the border regions of Blagoevgrad, Haskovo, Kardjali and Smolyan, and the activity is carried out under the project "Business Council - BC 6275" financed by the program INTERREG V/A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020, Subsidy contract No. B6.3a.18/13.04.2021.

The meeting was attended by 10 people who were representatives of the Tourism Sector from the border regions of Haskovo, Kardjali, Blagoevgrad and Smolyan. The meeting of the Tourism Business Council started on time in attendance mode.

The moderator of the event welcomed all attendees by proposing an agenda to the members present. The present representatives from the Chamber of Craftsmen presented their problems, on which a long discussion started.

Once again, the main problem was the lack of constructive communication with the representatives of the local authority, because after the Order of the Mayor of the municipality, they are forced to use a cash register to sell their items, but on the other hand, this is not a legal obligation for the artisans , as they are self-insured persons (free allowances). The case study caused a stormy discussion - the possibilities for solving the problem were discussed.

At the suggestion of the participants from the previous meeting, a short demonstration of the possibilities of modern mobile devices was held, with which craftsmen can take pictures of the products they produce themselves in order to attract more buyers.

Attendees asked questions about the possibilities of selling products online - answers to the questions will be given by the moderator at the next meeting of the business council.
