Cross -border cooperation survey and financing opportunities
On October 2, 2023, a meeting of the Business Council was held at the Kavala Expo, a waste management sector dedicated to the study of potential results of cross -border cooperation between Greece and Bulgaria enterprises, as well as the opportunities for access to European funding programs in support of joint initiatives. The Business Sovation MeetingIt was organized by the Development of Culture Tourism Environment - DE. Cu.T.e. Under the project “Business Council-BC 6275” financed by the Interreg V/A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020, SubSidy Contract №B6.3A.18/13.04.2021. The event was attended by 6 people on the spot and 2 online.
The main focus of discussions were the results of cross -border cooperationS The participants discussed the potential results and benefits of working together between enterprises from Greece and Bulgaria. They have studied opportunities for exchange of knowledge, expansion of the market and joint innovation projects that could come from collaboration across the border.
The Business Council meeting pay attention to European funding programssuch as Interreg available to businesses involved in cross -border cooperation. Participants discussed the application process, eligibility criteria and potential funding opportunities offered by these programs in support of joint projects and initiatives between enterprises from Greece and Bulgaria.
Discussions also focused on Opportunities for Businessthat can be obtained from participation in European funding programs and cross -border cooperation initiatives. Participants have exchanged opinions on the use of funding opportunities to support research and development projects, expand market presence and increase competitiveness of both the domestic and international markets.
