Solve the shortage of trained staff and international cooperation
On August 25, 2023, a meeting of the Business Council was held at the Aristothel University of Thessaloniki in the Waste Management Sector dedicated to the shortage of trained staff in the industry, with a particular focus on qualified motorcyclists. The meeting was attended by 15 people on the spot and 5 online through Zoom.
The main topics of the discussion included the opportunities for conducting training seminars for the development of staff, as well as the potential cooperation with Bulgarian companies in the same sector and the opportunities for inter -clock partnerships.
Participants discussed specific challenges related to the lack of qualified personnel and set out ideas for organizing training programs. The focus was on the potential for cooperation between Greek and Bulgarian enterprises, including joint projects, the exchange of good practices and the construction of stronger commercial relations between the two countries. In addition, the possibilities for inter -worm cooperation were considered, which could encourage innovation and efficiency in various industrial sectors.
The meeting was organized by the Development of Culture Tourism Environment - DE. Cu.T.e. Under the project “Business Council-BC 6275”, funded by the Interreg V/A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020, SubSidy Contract №B6.3A.18/13.2021.
In conclusion, participants have agreed to study the opportunities for organizing training programs, establish communication channels with Bulgarian partners and organize events to promote the strip cooperation.
