A regular business council meeting was held in the RES sector in Kavala

The fifth meeting of the business council in the RES sector was held on 13.06.2023. in the city of Kavala. The meeting was organized by "Development of culture tourism environment" - DE. CU.T.E. under the project "Business Council - BC 6275" financed by INTERREG V/A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020 program, Subsidy contract №B6.3a.18/13.04.2021. and it was attended by six representatives of the sector. A researcher from the University of the Aegean attended the meeting. The meeting aimed to explore new methodologies for renewable energy and discuss their application in the regional area covered by the business council's program.

The University of the Aegean researcher presented cutting-edge methodologies and advances in renewable energy technologies. Attendees gained valuable insight into the latest trends, innovations and scientific discoveries in the field of renewable energy.

Participants engaged in discussions on how the new methodologies presented by the researcher can be effectively implemented in the regional area covered by the Business Council programme. Emphasis was placed on identifying appropriate pilot projects and demonstration sites to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of these methodologies.

Attendees explored ways to integrate the new methodologies into the overall goals and objectives of the Business Council program. Strategies for leveraging the program's resources, networks and collaboration opportunities to support the implementation of innovative renewable energy solutions in the region were discussed.

The meeting highlighted the importance of capacity building and knowledge transfer initiatives to empower local stakeholders with the necessary skills and expertise to adopt and implement new renewable energy methodologies effectively.

The fifth meeting of the Renewable Energy Initiative facilitated valuable discussions on new methodologies for the deployment of renewable energy and their integration in the regional area covered by the Business Council programme. By leveraging experience, resources and collaborative opportunities, participants expressed optimism for driving positive change and sustainable development in the energy sector.
