A regular meeting of the business council in the RES sector was held in Kavala

On 02.06.2023 the next regular meeting of the Business Council in the RES sector was held in the city of Kavala. The meeting was organized by the association "Development of culture tourism environment" - DE. CU.T.E. under the project "Business Council - BC 6275" financed by INTERREG V/A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020 program, Subsidy contract №B6.3a.18/13.04.2021. The meeting was attended by six representatives of the sector.

The fourth meeting of the renewable energy initiative was held to explore potential opportunities for cooperation with similar companies in Bulgaria. The session aimed to analyze the needs, challenges and business structures of the energy sector in the neighboring country.

Participants explored various cooperation strategies, including joint ventures, knowledge exchange programs and technology transfer initiatives, to promote partnerships with Bulgarian business in the energy sector.

The meeting includes a comprehensive analysis of needs and demand in the Bulgarian energy sector. Participants discussed potential areas of cooperation based on identified needs, such as renewable energy infrastructure development, energy efficiency solutions and sustainable energy policy implementation. The discussion focused on identifying common challenges shared by both sides and developing joint solutions to effectively address them.

Participants analyzed the business structures of energy companies in Bulgaria, including their organizational models, market positioning and strategic priorities. This analysis provided valuable information on potential partnership opportunities and areas of mutual benefit.

The attendees decided to take steps to initiate dialogue and engagement with Bulgarian partners, as well as to explore potential opportunities for cooperation and exchange of information for the relevant business environments.

The fourth meeting of the renewable energy initiative marked an important milestone in the exploration of opportunities for cross-border cooperation with Bulgarian business. By analyzing the needs, challenges and business structures, the participants laid the foundations for future cooperation initiatives aimed at stimulating mutual growth and innovation in the energy sector.
