A regular meeting of the business council in the RES sector was held in Kavala

On 31.05.2023 a regular meeting of the business council in the RES sector was held in Kavala. The meeting was organized by the partners of the project association "Development of culture tourism environment" - DE. CU.T.E. under the project "Business Council - BC 6275" financed by INTERREG V/A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020 program, Subsidy contract №B6.3a.18/13.04.2021.

The meeting aimed to streamline on-site logistics for future meetings and to explore opportunities offered by European funding programs to support the growth of energy sector enterprises.

Attendees were informed about the Interreg programs and their role in promoting regional cooperation and development across European borders. Discussions focused on the potential benefits of participating in Interreg programmes, including access to funding, knowledge exchange and cooperation opportunities with other European regions.

Participants explored how European funding programs can help businesses in the energy sector achieve growth and gain a competitive advantage. Emphasis was placed on mobilizing funding opportunities for research and innovation, market expansion, and sustainability initiatives. Attendees discussed the importance of strategic planning in identifying appropriate funding programs, aligning project proposals with program objectives, and maximizing impact of the received financing on the growth and development of the enterprise.

The third meeting of the Renewable Energy Initiative marked a significant step towards strengthening cooperation and leveraging European funding programs for business growth. After deciding to continue meeting in Kavala and after exploring funding options, the participants expressed confidence in boosting sustainable development and innovation in the energy sector.
