A meeting of representatives of the Tourism Sector was held in Alexandroupolis

On 10.04.2023 the first meeting of representatives of the Tourism Sector in Greece was held in Alexandroupolis. The meeting was organized by the association "Development of culture tourism environment" - DE. CU.T.E. under the project "Business Council - BC 6275" financed by INTERREG V/A GREECE-BULGARIA 2014-2020 program, Subsidy contract №B6.3a.18/13.04.2021.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the benefits of cooperation with Bulgarian partners within the tourism industry and to explore effective communication strategies for gaining business insights. The participants explored the potential benefits of cooperation with Bulgarian partners in the tourism industry. They discussed opportunities for joint marketing initiatives, cross-border tourism packages and cultural exchange programs to attract more visitors and improve the overall tourism experience.

Discussions focused on the importance of effective communication strategies to gain business insights and foster collaboration. Participants exchanged ideas on using digital platforms, such as social media, email newsletters and online forums, to communicate with partners and stakeholders, share information and gather feedback.

The meeting ended with the commitment of the participants to explore the possibilities of cooperation with Bulgarian partners and to adopt effective communication strategies for acquiring business insights. Action points were identified, including establishing communication channels with Bulgarian travel agencies, organizing joint promotional events and using digital tools for information sharing and collaboration.
