The meeting of the business council started on time in present mode. The meeting was held in Hall 1 on "Todor Aleksandrov" Street - Blagoevgrad. The hall was technically secured, being equipped - multimedia, portable computer, printer, as well as information boards, banner and presentation materials, according to the requirements of the Communication and Publicity Guide of the Interreg V/A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020 program. The moderator of the event welcomed all the attendees and started the event by making a short digression to introduce the new members and brief information regarding the Rules of Procedure of BS in the RES sector.

A focus of the open discussion was the challenge of connecting power plants to the grid. In connection with the requirements that the EU has - until 2026. all new public, and after 2029 and that residential buildings must have photovoltaic systems on their roofs, the members of the council expressed their concerns about the difficult procedures for connecting to the electricity distribution grids, laid down in the Bulgarian regulations.

A member of the council made a comparison with the procedures provided for in the law here in Bulgaria and those in Germany. He shared his experience gained from years of working abroad and his frustration with the lack of support and clearly written rules in our country.

Against the backdrop of an ever-growing sector and increased demand, it is necessary to take quick and effective actions to support small and medium-sized business owners.

In connection with the above, it is necessary to hold a number of meetings with the authorities at the local, regional and national level and to discuss changes in the regulatory framework that will help the development of the RES sector.

Unfortunately, in the complex political environment in which the country finds itself, problems of this type remain unresolved for a long time.

The project management team has committed to making efforts to present the council's requests to local authority representatives and to organize meetings with them to hear the suggestions and requests of all interested parties.
