The meeting was held in the "Rotary" Hall, "Kyparis Alpha" hotel - Smolyan. It was technically equipped with multimedia, a laptop, a printer, as well as information boards, a banner and presentation materials, according to the requirements of the Communication and Publicity Guide of the Interreg V/A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020 program. The moderator of the event welcomed all the attendees and started the event by introducing the new members of the council and giving a brief information regarding the Regulations for the work of the BS in the Tourism sector.

The topic of the free discussion was the non-implementation of the "Rudozem - Xanthi" checkpoint. A council member expressed the opinion of all present that this is a major setback for businesses in the area on both sides of the border.

With the commissioning of the object, it will lead to an increase in the flow of people in the area and the popularization of the balneosanatarium in Rudozem.

The member of the council shared with those present that with better advertising of the city, more tourists will be attracted and there will be an opportunity for the development of various types of tourism (eg fishing - three rivers pass through the city of Rudozem).

The attendees decided to make a proposal to the local authorities to make brochures with brief information about the sights and services that are offered in the Rudozem area in order to promote the area as a tourist destination.
