Solve a shortage of staff and good practices for cross -border cooperation
On January 11, 2023, a meeting of the Business Council was held in the city of Xanthi in the Waste Management Sector dedicated to the problem of staff shortages in the sector and the opportunities to overcome it through successful examples of cross -border cooperation. The discussion was attended by 5 people on the spot and 3 through Zoom.
The main focus of the meeting was the difficulty in hiring qualified personnel, the differences in skills and challenges associated with staff detention. Participants discussed ideas for building networks between businesses in order to exchange workforce and resources that can help overcome staff deficits.
Another important focus was the presentation of successful examples of cross -border cooperation. Participants have considered specific cases and good practices from previous projects that demonstrate effective ways to build stable international partnerships. Methods were discussed to overcome administrative and cultural barriers, as well as strategies to promote sustainable and mutually beneficial business relations.
The event was organized by the Development of Culture Tourism Environment - DE. Cu.T.e. Within the framework of the Business Council-BC 6275 project, funded by the Interreg V/A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020, SubSidy Contract №B6.3A.18/13.04.2021.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed a commitment to further explore the staff exchange opportunities between companies, as well as to apply effective cross-border cooperation models in their business practices.
