Opportunities to collaborate and overcome the challenges in the sector
On January 9, 2023, the first meeting of the Business Council was held in Xanthi the Waste Management District of Xanthi. The meeting was attended by 12 representatives from the sector. The main objective was to discuss cooperation opportunities between participants and to find solutions to common challenges.
The meeting was presented with the project and its main goals, with participants discussing key spheres in which joint work could bring mutual benefits. Different forms of partnership, including knowledge sharing, resource unification and joint initiatives, were considered.
The main challenges that participants face - regulatory difficulties, limited resources and increased market competition were also identified. As a result, the discussion has led to proposals for practical solutions based on the shared experience and expertise of those present.
The event was organized by the Development of Culture Tourism Environment - DE. Cu.T.e. Within the framework of the Business Council-BC 6275 project, funded by the Interreg V/A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020, SubSidy Contract №B6.3A.18/13.04.2021.
At the end of the meeting, the participants expressed their willingness to continue the study of opportunities for cooperation and to take specific steps to overcome the common challenges in the sector.
